Our client, a small to medium size enterprise group of companies that have interests in properties, based in Nairobi, is looking to hire a Personal Assistant/Office Administrator (PA) to the Managing Director. The PA/Office Administrator will provide administrative support to the MD and facilitate the smooth running of the office.

The Primary Duties of this role will include:

Managing and maintaining the Managing Directors’ diary/calendar and streamlining requests and
workload;

Screening the MD’s telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them as required;
Organising meetings, appointments and events and arranging travel and logistics related to the
meetings, appointments and events;
Ensuring the MD is well-prepared for the meetings and from time to time attending meetings on his
behalf;

Taking and circulating minutes in meetings and following through on action points as appropriate;
Preparing proposals, reports and presentations;
Managing office correspondence; controlling office budgets; ordering stationery, office equipment and furniture;

Required Qualities – The ideal candidate will be:

Presentable and self assured

Flexible and independentHave a clean drivers license

Required Skills -

The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent event organisation and interpersonal skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Diplomatic in his/her approach
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Highly organised, pay close attention to detail and effective time management skills
Create and maintain good relationships with clients
Deal with conflicting priorities and resolve issues amicability and decisively

Qualifications
Have a Diploma or a Degree in Business management or Project Management.
Computer literate, highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint with
working experience of desktop publishing.

Our client is looking for young, enthusiastic individuals who are motivated by job satisfaction and the desire to achieve outstanding results.

The ideal candidate aged between 25 and 30 years, should have at least 2 years experience in a similar position. The salary for this position is Ksh 30,000 gross per month.
