Terms of Reference (TOR) for End Term Evaluation for PENELI Programme
Introduction: Participatory Ecological Land Use Management (PELUM) Association is a network of Civil Society Organizations / NGOs working with small-scale farmers in East, central and Southern Africa. The Association membership was founded in 1995.
The regional activities are coordinated at the Regional Desk (RD), currently located in Lusaka, Zambia. PELUM- Kenya is the Kenyan country chapter of the PELUM Association and has a membership of 42 member organizations.
PELUM-Kenya envisions ‘empowered and prosperous communities deriving their livelihoods from sustainable land use.’ PELUM-Kenya’s’ mission is to promote participatory ecological land use and management practices for improved livelihoods among small holder farmers in Kenya.
To undertake this assessment, PELUM Kenya is looking for a competent and experienced professional consultant or a professional consultancy team with relevant competences and especially agriculture or natural resource and environmental management background and expertise.
The consultant should prepare a proposal indicating profile showing their qualifications and experience including past similar assignments, the approach or methodology employed in carrying out the survey and an indicative time frame of baseline survey data collection including a budget for the estimated cost of undertaking the baseline survey.
