We are looking to fill the vacancy for: Production Manager

Job Purpose:

Provide leadership and performance efficiencies at assigned production department in alignment with the strategic business objectives.

Duties:

Develop departmental strategy
Approve already developed SOPs
To participate in the process of formulating and implementing business strategy.
Optimize Human Resource Talent and Potential
Performance Management
Training and Development
Mentoring and Coaching
Risk Management
Ensure compliance with Occupational, Health and Safety Regulations
Optimize productivity
Plan, execute and monitor production programmes that support Lean Manufacturing
Ensure conformity with the National and International Quality Standards.
Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement process improvements.
Effectively manage resources – materials, equipment availability
Provide Leadership in the application of improvement intervention programs – Kaizen System
Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and 14001

Skills/Qualifications:
Min: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, production, Chemical, Industrial or equivalent)
Registered with a recognized Engineering Regulatory body.
Work Experience: 11 years minimum.
